Yu Kongoji, the protagonist of the manga, comes from a wealthy family. He has a lot of pocket money, most of which he spends on buying merchandise for his favorite idols.

However, life takes a drastic turn when his family business faces financial bankruptcy and he is forced to move into a run-down apartment.
It was during this challenging time that he met Rino Hinata, a popular girl at school but known for being frugal.She came up with the idea of ​​living together as a way to cut expenses and save money.

The manga, created by Hino, made its debut in Shōnen Ace magazine in August 2021. Following its serialization, Kadokawa released the second volume of the manga in November 2022, compiling multiple chapters into a single book.

In July 2021, Hino and Kenji Saitō concluded their manga series titled 《Samayoeru Tensei-sha-tachi no Revival Game》 . The manga was initially launched in Kadokawa’s Dragon Age magazine in April 2019, and after its serialization, it came to the end in July 2021.
